Section 4
There are a few things that I don't understand. One is why did the Nazis hate the Jews so much? Also, how did they determine who the kapos were, were they prisoners and if so why were they mean to the other prisoners? Something that disturbed me was when they hung the little boy, and they had to walk buy him and he didn't die right away, that was pretty disturbing. Another thing that kind of disturbed me was when that guy killed himself in the soup, that was really wierd. Also, why did Elie get transfered to the construction unit?

Well kyle i agree completely with you on this section. I dont really understand how the kapos are chosen either.The kid being hung was disturbing to me too. Its sad that he got hung in the first place but to not die right away and have all these people watching you suffer, I couldnt watch!
That was horrible with the little boy. These Nazis were so cruel that they let a small child suffer for a half hour before he died. Not just that, though, but they also made everyone watch him struggle...
