Night Section 5
It is now winter in the camp and it is snowing constantly. For winter clothes they have recieved clothes that are a little bit thicker than their normal clothes. I was supprised that the Nazis even gave them the "winter clothes". I think that Elie was very lucky to get the doctor that he did. I think that had the doctor not been Jewish he would have lost his leg. I don't think it was a good idea for him and his fatheer to leave the camp, i think they should have stayed in the hospital because of the condition of Elies foot. It could get infected very easily.

Kyle, I totally agree with you on the whole doctor thing. Im pretty sure that if he hadnt received a jewish doctor he would only have one leg. I cant believe that they decided to go with the other even thought Elies foot was so bad.
Also, you're right about it being dangerous to leave with his injury. Now he might lose his leg! I am also kind of upset that they didn't stay because they would have been rescued!
I was suprised to that the germans gave them thicker clothes to wear during the winter. They didn't seem to care if they died before. Also, I think elie was lucky to get a Jewish docter.
